Best Way to Remove Body Hair on a Hairy Guy Other than Waxing?

my boyfriend is extremely hairy. weve tried everything. nair, clipping, shaving...it grows back quickly and it doesnt get down to the root. He doesn't want to be waxed, mainly because it would take a very long time and a decent amount of money. Plus the idea of having hair ripped out of his body by a stranger makes him feel very uncomfortable. He doesn't mind the hair sometimes, but it can make him too hot sometimes, especially with warmer weather. Is there anything that will work better than in shower nair?(what we used before)
