Im a 15 year old girl with an 18 year old guy?

soo we knew eachother when i was 13 and he was 15 turning 16.. soo its been almost 2 or 3 years weve known eachother. we love eachother. no in love. but love eachother. im 15 and he turns 18 in like 2 months.. its wierd i think. cuz i have trust issues and we do talk about everything like EVERYTHING about him being older and what not. but do you think this will work out??? anyone have anything to say. im just confused
