If anime was on a major network, how poplar do you think it will be?

Honestly i dont think so, anime is a very specialized form of entertainment. It really dosnt appeal to everyone. Me im an artist currently going through art school and anime if frowned upon, and im sure its it frowned upon by many major tv networks. Also anime rarely has long lasting fans usual anime is a phase especially in children i use to like anime but i got tired of it after a while. But dont get me wrong there are some die hard anime fans but just not enough to sustain a show on a major network. An anime show will never get as much views an family guy or American dad. But in case you didnt know there are channels that play anime funamation plays anime all day and Adult swim plays anime Saturday Nights.
